This policy explains what personal data Eli the Papillon (“we”) collects, why, and your rights over it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run an honest, independent publication.
What we collect
- Contact form data — the name, email and message you send us, used only to reply.
- Newsletter email — stored only to send you the newsletter, with one-click unsubscribe in every issue.
- Anonymous analytics — aggregate visit data, and only if you consent via the cookie banner.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, share it with hotels, or use it to target you with third-party advertising. Marketing and analytics cookies stay off until you opt in.
Legal basis & your rights
We process data under the GDPR on the basis of consent and legitimate interest. You may request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@elithepapillon.com.
Retention
Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months; newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in aggregate only.
